A practical note on booking: F1 weekend is the most heavily committed weekend of our year. Vehicles are reserved months in advance, and requests that arrive in the final week usually cannot be filled at any price. If you already know your dates, send them now — even if the rest of your plans are unsettled.

As early as possible. Formula 1 is the single busiest weekend of the year for Austin ground transportation and vehicles are committed months out. One to three months ahead is realistic; last-minute F1 requests are rarely available.
The circuit is roughly twenty miles southeast of downtown. Outside event traffic that is about thirty minutes. On race day, plan on significantly longer and leave earlier than feels necessary.
